Last month we saw Toshiba launch a couple of entry-level models in the Satellite C-Series, but want the company announced in Rome today is an altogether more premium product.

The stand out feature of the laptops announced today is the 3D webcam sitting above the screens of some of the P-Series models, the 15.6in P750 and P755 and the larger 17.3in P770 and P775. The class-leading P755 comes bundled with nVidia 3D Vision active shutter glasses allowing 3D games and movies to be viewed directly from the laptop. The P755, as well as the P750, can also convert standard 2D content to 3D and allow you to connect to any 3D TV to share the 3D love with everyone as long as they all have active shutter glasses of course.

All models in the Satellite P-series feature second generation Intel processors (Core i5 or i7 Sandy Bridge) and dedicated nVidia graphics. Harman Kardon speakers come as standard on all P-Series models as does sleep-and-charge USB 3.0 ports. The P-Series models can be configured with up to 750GB HDD and 8Gb of DDR3 memory. The 15.6in screens have a resolution of 1366 x 768 with the 17.3in screens at 1,600 x 900 and all come with the TruBrite HD technology from Toshiba.

As for the L-Series, these laptops are available in three sizes: 13.3in, 15.6in and 17.3in, with all coming with the ability to convert 2D content into 3D though youll have to connect them to a 3D TV for playback. All three feature the Toshiba TruBrite HD+ screen and integrated Onkyo speakers. The laptops are highly customisable with a range of AMD and Intel processors, shared Intel or dedicated nVidia graphics, up to 750GB HDD, up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, Blu-ray or DVD drives, as well as a choice of colours including Grace Silver and Modena Red.

Check out the links below for a full list of specifications and both the Satellite P-Series and L-Series will be available next month but we are waiting for official UK pricing from Toshiba.
